Bethesda has surprisingly released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2. This new version features improved resolution, faster loading times, better overall performance, and Joy-Con 2 support with mouse functionality.
In addition, it retains all the extras from the 2017 Switch edition, including motion controls, Amiibo support, and items inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, such as the Master Sword, the Hylian Shield, and the Champion’s Tunic. The package also includes the base game, the three official expansions, and Creation Club content.
The Switch 2 edition is priced at US$60. Those who already own the Anniversary Edition on Switch receive the upgrade for free. Owners of only the base version can pay US$20 to upgrade and secure the version for the new console.
